Pheasant Palace construction - April 2009
So, why is it called a "Pheasant Palace"?
...because it's 6 feet tall X 8 feet wide X 6 feet deep!!!
It's very spacious for 2 small pheasants...
Inside the new large aviary - 20 feet wide X 30 feet deep X 20 feet high.
(tall enough to plant small trees in!)
The 2 X 4 galvanized fencing over the top pf the aviary is difficult to see in the picture...
after one coat of stain...and no trim yet...
the roosts inside... large enough for the pheasants to cover their feet while roosting in the winter to prevent frostbite

I prefer to make my own designs as they're being built. The results are always unique, and very functional.
Currently, the larger aviary holds two Golden Pheasants
