a small New England working farm and safe haven for animals in Barre, Massachusetts
White Tailed Deer
Links
Deer are plentiful in Massachusetts. I read that there is currently around 85,000 head. This is good news for the deer, as they were either squeezed out or hunted down to about 1000 head in the past.
No deer have visited the farm because the periphery is fenced.
Deer most likely visit the outer 2 acre portion of the farm.
